He is a 1977 batch Probationary Officer from  SBI.A 1977 batch probationary officer from SBI, Sharma has worked as Chief General Manager - Risk Management, SBI; General Manager, Network, in New Delhi and Mumbai; General Manager, Project Finance and General Manager (Global Markets). Ex-Prez Pratibha Patil spent 140 Cr on air Travel

According to RIT report India’s ex-President visited 18 Countries in 10 trips from November 2008 to October 2011.India’s former president Pratibha Patil sets a new record by spending 140 Cr travel expenses alone. Patil was the most frequent flyer using IAF planes 255 times as compared to PM ManMohan(108) abd Vice President Ansari(106). As A.P.J.Abdul Kalam visited 17 Countries in 7 trips and K.R.Narayana covered 10 Countries in 6 trips. S.D.Shrama covered 16 Nations in 4 trips.

Print High Resolution Images Without Ink a New Technology Developed

The team of scientists with Indian origin  has developed  a new technology of printing high resolution images without ink. The Institute of materials research and Engineering in Singapore has demonstrated that 1,00,000 dots per inch(dpi) can produce sharp and full spectrum color images.Which can be applicable in reflect colour displays , anti-counterfeiting, and high density optical recording.Karthik Kumar says that size and spacing of the nanodots is critical to the final image quality. "The closer the dots are together and because of their small size, the higher the resolution of the image.

Scientists discovered Genetic “Hot Spot’ of Diabetes Found

Scientists have discovered a clutch of genes that dramatically increase the risk of diabetes, paving way for cheap drugs to tackle the disease that affects millions across the world. The latest genes discovered take the total linked to the condition to more than 60 and provide a fuller picture at the biological process underlying type 2 diabetes.Scientists led by researches from the University of oxford, the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT and University of Michigan examined the variations of DNA of ours and may have some connection to type 2 diabetes.

Indo-Japanese Team  Research on solar Cell Efficiency

The cost of Production of the mega watt of a solar cell is high.The efficiency of conversion of sunlight into energy by existing solar cells also needs to be improved considerably. These two factors are limiting the growth of solar energy as compared to conventional sources such as thermal and hydel energy.To reduce the cost and to increase the efficiency  of the solar cell Indo -Japanese team who made research on solar cell has reported a boost in the conversion efficiency of dye sensitised solar cells (DSSC) to 11.4 per cent.This is the highest certified efficiency, breaking the record set five years ago. The work has been carried out at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, and Japanese researchers and reported in the journal Energy & Environmental Science of the Royal Society of Chemistry. DSSCs are easy to fabricate and utilities low- cost materials.
